Seal does not match organisation identifier, what to do?

When this error occurs, there is usually nothing wrong with the eSeal certificate. In the EPREL environment, the Chamber of Commerce (KVK) number must be manually entered during the EPREL registration, and the 'Identity Type Reference code' must be changed to NTR. For more help on this, you can contact EPREL directly.

What are the costs for eSeal?

eSeal is always offered as a yearly subscrition. We cannot offer an eSeal for a one-time use. You never have to pay additional costs.

Can I register for eSeal if I’m not the legal representative?

Yes! During a registration, it is automatically checked whether you are a legal representative on behalf of your company. If not, a Power of Attorney will be generated that can be signed by the legal representative(s). It is also possible to accept these authorisations using the Self Service Portal. After that, you can complete your registration. More info

Can I register for eSeal on behalf of someone else?

eSeal is a qualified electronic signature that verifies an individual's authentication. Therefore, anyone who is going to use eSeal must always complete their own registration. However, you can easily invite other people for your organisation using the Self Service Portal.

Can you transfer eSeal to someone else?

eSeal is a qualified electronic signature that verifies an individual's authentication. Therefore, you cannot transfer eSeal to someone else. The person who needs to use eSeal can complete a new registration themselves. The authorisation of the employee who is leaving can be revoked. More info

How do I add an organisation to eSeal?

You can add an organisation to your Digidentity account by starting a new eSeal registration. It is advisable to do this within an existing account, so you only have to remember one pincode and do not need to go through a new identification process.
